eSMART is one of the 30 companies selected in the PROPTECH SWITZERLAND INNOVATION INDEX 2021 study. This is a detailed study of the PropTech Switzerland ecosystem.
The index is based on a research and development project of the PropTechAcademy association and the PropTechSwitzerland association. Indeed, PropTechAcademy has developed a new method to evaluate companies according to the degree of innovation in numerous categories and with more than 100 criteria. This method is the first of its kind in the world and was used to create the international PropTech standards.
In the PROPTECH SWITZERLAND INNOVATION INDEX 2021 study, 130 companies are audited. They offer 189 services and 161 products in the real estate, construction and finance sectors.
The study shows that around 70% of Swiss PropTech companies are based in three cantons: Zurich, Vaud and Bern; and 47% of them are based in the canton of Zurich. Furthermore, in the Swiss PropTech market “sustainability” and “innovation” were the key words in 2020 and they still are!
